While we use proven curriculum programs, we believe that learning is not one-size-fits-all. Lessons are adapted to meet each child’s unique needs, learning style, and pace.
Through a combination of teacher-guided instruction and child-led discovery, we create meaningful learning experiences that prepare children not just for kindergarten—but for a lifelong love of learning.

We encourage children to become independent, confident, and inquisitive learners by actively exploring their environment and asking questions. Instead of simply giving answers, we guide children with questions like:

This helps build critical thinking, language development, and confidence.
We also believe in process over product.
In our classrooms, children are encouraged to explore, create, and even get messy—especially during art and hands-on activities. We focus on the learning that happens during the experience, rather than what the final product “should” look like.
Children learn so much more when they are given the freedom to:

EACH DAY IS FULL OF FUN & LEARNING!
EACH DAY IS FULL OF FUN & LEARNING!
30 min. – Welcome, Table Time
We are so excited for everyone to arrive! We get right to working on fine motor skills with fun arts and crafts.
30 min. – Circle Time
We gather at the circle rug to work on our cognitive, social, language, and gross motor skills with our sharing time, calendar, weather, job helpers and music & movement.
20 min. – Story Time
We come together as a group and read or review our story of the week. Working on understanding literacy, print awareness, and basic reading comprehension skills.
30 min – Whole Group Teaching Time
Teaching time includes explicit teaching to address various subject areas to include reading, writing, math, social and fine motor skills, and fun science activities.
45 min. – Center Time and Small Group rotation
Often known as “Free Play” or “Play Time,” our many centers include Dramatic Play, Sensory, Art, Building, Literacy, Writing, and Science. We work on social, emotional, and language skills such as using our words, taking turns, being patient, negotiating conflicts, etc. In addition, our teacher brings over small groups or works 1-on-1 with building cognitive skills (colors, shapes, letters, sounds, numbers, counting, math/reading for older kids) based on each child’s level. Our summer camps feature lots of fun science experiments!
25 min. – Snack Time
We love working on our cognitive, social, language, and fine motor skills as we pour, measure, sort, count, chat, and enjoy eating together.
30 min. – Recess
Our play areas include play structures, swings, sand boxes, balls, hula hoops, and more! You’ll think we’re just playing, but we’re actually working on our social, emotional, language, and gross motor skills as we run, jump, climb, swing, and create games. We also play a lot of fun water games during camp!
30 min. – Closing Circle
We head back to the circle rug to work on our cognitive skills, social and language skills with discussing what we have learned, and emotional skills with getting ready to go home.
